october song obsessions.

*so, i know that these are old and probably worn out songs, but because i don't listen to the radio, i have the privilege of liking songs for a lot longer than i normally would!

therefore, these songs are currently on repeat on my iTunes. (click the title of the song to view the mv (if there is one) and listen to the song.)

this month i went through a weird sad-love-song phase. not sure why. i wasn't really sad or love sick... but the songs just seemed to fit my life at the time.

i've got that bug again.

i make my big move (from utah to texas) at the end of the month. with that in the hindsight of my mind, i've been shopping around for some new decor for my new house. this can be a very bad and dangerous thing for me, as i'll spend all my money on house decor...

so far i've found a few things that i ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE. i don't know how i've lived without them before... i've also found some great inspos that i plan on using when the actual decorating of the room begins.

this is one of the color pallets i'm currently obsessed with. aqua (blue), red, and black.

i really love, off to the side on the shelves, the empty frame hanging on the wall, and all the pictures.

i also really like the shelving and knick knacks on the shelves.

i love the colors in this room and all the random things going on. from all the pictures on the wall, to the decorative pillows and even some of the furniture pieces... i love this room.

i love decorating. its a good thing too because about every 6 months i move, and i change my mind on how i want things to look!

who knew?!

lately i've been messing around with designing blog headers. i used to only know how to edit with picnik, but i've recently discovered a program called paint.net that is basically a free knock off version of photo shop, that has allowed me to take my creativity to the next level!
since then, i've designed a few headers for a few friends and family members. as a proud mama of her new found hobby, i thought i'd share a few:

nerd confession [#2].

its that time again. time for a:

i own every *nsync song ever made.

ever.

and every now and then i'll turn on that finger-snapping-awesomeness and listen to a few of their songs and reminisce on my good ole' *nsync days.

one of those songs is called "you drive me crazy" (not to be confused with "crazy for you" or "i drive myself crazy"... wow, there was lots of crazy love going on back then...).

i had a cassette tape of the song (recorded off of the tv) that i listened to on non-stop... actually the tape had the song recorded over and over and over so i never had to rewind it. all i had to do was just let 'er play.

it was also, if you ask me, their best music video... unless we count the first one they made of "i want you back" which is basically at the top of the awesome charts because of how wonderfully lame it is...

i don't know if its itty bitty justin feelin' himself up at about 2 minutes and 29 seconds, all the standing-above-the-camera-dancing shots, or just the fact that they filmed a music video with a space theme that makes this video so wonderful, but its definitely one of my faves. 

...all this *nsync talk makes me want to go watch model behavior...

my friends are just as awesome as i am.

i stole one of my friend's phone the other day and was texting a mutual friend as the friend i had stolen the phone from. (confusing, i know). its something i do all the time but never get sick of. kind of like prank calling. i know prank calling expired back in middle school for most people, but not for me. for some reason i still think its hilarious. ANYWAY, as i was texting said friend, i was talking to him about hair removal (the more random the conversation i can get in to, the better) the conversation that followed had me laughing for hours:

me: "yeah, i found this hair removal remedy on line. it says to mix horse radish, leprechaun's blood, vinegar and salt. do you think it will work?'
jared: "ha ha yeah. don't forget to stir it with a unicorn's horn!"
me: "this isn't a joke jared!"

it was the comment about the unicorn's horn that got me. what a doofus.

true fact: i can never get sick of jt. as an avid *nsync lover, he has been my #1 celeb crush for over 10 years now. (although he's taken a back seat to mr. barnes and r-patz a few times as of late, i've still always loved him.) but do you blame me? i mean, how adorable is he? oh, and jimmy's awesome too.

i laugh everytime i see or hear this video. i know its kind of disgusting with the amounts of phlem going on, but seriously? who has the time to do crap like this!

so, there aren't usually musical numbers on himym, so this one was an awesome treat. if you don't watch how i met your mother, you many not understand the whole thing about the suit. but rather than explaining it, i'm just going to tell you to go watch the show. because that would be way better.
