absolutely.

you know those times in your life where nothing can go wrong, and your walking on big, puffy, [pink] clouds? you got the world on a string, sittin' on a rainbow?
i so know what that feels like!
i'm just blissfull right now. amoung all the busy-ness, and money issues, and preping for school, i'm just... happy. its great. i feel like life can't get any better and then it does.
{happiness}

anywhooser. lately has been the first time in a long time that i'll have money in the bank. literally. for the past while i've had a grand total of about $10 in savings, and checking combined.
not a nice number.
but now that i have work and am getting a nice check from the government (also known as tax returns), i'll have a few hundred in the bank. still not a lot, but enough for me to be grateful! - anyway, before i've even received this money, i've got big plans for it.
observe:

just ordered seasons 1-5 of this and i couldn't be more excited.
whoever can't find this show humerous needs to get a new sense of humor!

my hair is in serious need of a pick-me-up which is exactly what its going to get.
(this is the BEST color i've ever used in my life. i. love. it.)
and a little of this and that. (you know, dresses, tights... bows. that sort of conservative things.)

its going to be great.
what a wonderful way to welcome spring!

xoxo,

call me miss bee.

hey friends.
i have been sooooo busy.
traveling.....
moving.....
getting a job.....
and working on a wedding.
{pictures of that event will be posted in my "check out my work" section after april 1st.}
i'm hoping things will calm down after easter,
cause i'm way over due for a big break from life.
my last big trip until i move is coming up this weekend.
i'm pretty stoked for it. notgunnalie. i'm going b-a-c-k to ut for a couple of days.
(you can take the girl out of utah, but you can't take utah out of the girl.)
and this wedding i've been planning is this thursday.
tomorrow and thurs will be busy, busy, busy, but i love the work. its great.
i'm doing the brides hair, decorations, and food. going to be wicked awesome.
after all that, i just have to ride out the storm (literally as its STILL snowing here) until i move back to ut in june!
that's when the real party will begin.
hoop-la!
happy tuesday folks. make it a good one.

money, money, money.
its a rich man's world,

{all the awesomly, inspiringly, beautiful pics you see above were found on my favorite photo site weheartit.com go check it out.}

p.s. welcome to my newest followers! i hope you have a stupendous time here!

kissing would be nice, eh?

i saw the princess and the frog on my latest excursion to ut,
and it was the first movie in a long time that i've actually enjoyed.
i guess i'm sort of bias towards anything disney does, but i did. i loved it.
can we talk about my favorite character though?
prince naveen.
*disclaimer i know he's a cartoon character.
his cute little accent and love for the free-wheeling-it lifestyle was so adorable!
and his fabulous taste in music didn't hurt either.
prince naveen is voiced by bruno campos
(who you probably recognize from nip tuck, or maybe er...)
which, if you ask me, makes things even better.
he made the movie fun and enjoyable.

i highly recommend the flick.
its very nostalgic with its every-10-minute musical numbers and "old-school animation".
and its out! so go to your local red box, pay a buck,
and watch this flick!

almost there,

its been...

... a l o n g week.
moving.
wedding planning.
packing.
job searching.
zero me time.
but tonight, to my surprise, we're eating breakfast for dinner.
best part?
chocolate chip pancakes!
(which i love to eat with peanut butter on top)
i have been craving those things all week and i didn't even tell anyone!
the universe loves me.

eat, eat, eat, all day long,

new moon is here ya'll.

i've been debating all day whether or not to go get my copy of new moon at midnight tonight with all the other crazies out there.
alas, i will be, simply because last year my wal-mart ran out of the "special feature" copies within about 15 minutes. all that was left were the "normal" copies. and who wants that?
(plus i need 5 more boxes of white lights for the wedding i'm planning.)
anyway, in celebration, here is the eclipse trailer!
woohoo!
(and please enjoy the awesome geico commercial before the preview!)
have a good one all!

twihard,

out with the bad, in with the good.

i'm at a point in my life where i'm ready for a new slate.
ready to purge out all the bad/stressful people and situations in my life,
and ready to welcome all the good and cleansing aspects.
i'm ready for my re-birth.
my phoenix moment if you will.
lately i've just been so irritated with life and how completely redundant it can be.
i'm kind of a tricky person. i hate change, unless i instigate it.
but i also h-a-t-e making big decisions.
i love when i get into my groove and life is good and all that,
but when things get too routine, i'm out like a light.
however, it takes me ages to actually decided what i'm going to do to break out of my usual day-to-day.
i move a lot, change my wardrobe a lot, constantly find new "favorite" bands etc, and i'll obsess over these things for a few weeks or months, and then i'll get bored and move on.
i have such a yellow personality.
when i actually find something that i'm excited about for extensive periods of time,
that's when i know i'll be happy about it for the rest of my life.
this is why it has taken me this long to get going on school,
its why i'm not married,
and why i've moved 7 (going on move 8 and 9 in the next few months) in the last 2 years.
but i'm an adult now.
there is no more time for messing around.
which is where my phoenix experience comes in.
i've started making minor changes in my life,
that i feel are requirements to allow me to live the happiest life i can.
stupid little things like:
canceling my twitter account(s)

{bye, bye birdie.}
twitter was just causing me way too much stress,
and taking up too much time in my day.
i realized how impersonal and pointless it was to be tweeting all the time.
and who really cares what i'm up to 24/7?!
that's what reality t.v. is for.
bought a new purse and shoes
okay so my purse didn't come from bergdorf goodman,
but it is big and yellow like the one seen above.
best part about it?
it was $3.00.
the shoes? not exactly keds, but mine look just like them.
they were $5.00.
i do love me my bargains.
and i was ready for some new things to help carry me into my new life!
and i've stopped doing things i don't want to do
(that aren't a necessity.)
that means you'll be seeing less of words of wisdom wednesdays
and fun fact fridays.
they were a fun idea in the beginning, then they just got too binding.
i felt like i had to do them.
i'll still do them every now and then.
only if i feel like it.
i'm also moving and starting school
yeah. i'm giving my summer away to classes and grades.
papers, professors and student loans.
and i couldn't be more excited.
its the beginning of a new chapter in my life,
and i can feel its going to be the best chapter yet.

it feels good to take control and move on.
what will you do to make the changes you need to?
good by clouds of grey,
hello skies of blue,

{daisy and the egg photo found on jennipenni's flickr site. what a great photo!, pheonix paper sculture found via xin yan's flickr site, choices, twitter, black keds picture all found via google images, big yellow purse found here, and hogwarts pic sited here via we heart it.}

and the oscar goes to...

*this was scheduled to post the monday after oscar night. for some reason it didn't. sorry its up so late!

we all love the oscars right?
i do.
i love tuning in, making my guesses at who will win,
talking about stars/films that do or don't deserve to win,
and making fun of people that suck at reading a teleprompter.
but my favorite part?
the fashion. it is the best part of the oscars.
so, for a little entertainment (and if you didn't catch the oscars live),
here's who i thought were the best and worst dressed [women] at the 2010 academy awards.

the worst (what were they thinking?)
{charlize theron in christian dior}
apparently she was in full bloom. need i say more?

{nicole richie in reem acra}
usually, i'm a big fan of her style. she's one of my fashion icons actually,
but this? she looks cleopatra being eaten by a big sparkly snake.

{vera farmiga in marchesa}
looking like a wedding center piece, i cringed when i saw vera.
the color had promise. the rest? didn't.

{sarah jessica parker in chanel}
as carrie bradshaw, i think we've all thought sjp couldn't go wrong,
we've deemed her a fashion goddess so to speak.
but then again i also thought chanel couldn't go wrong.
i was proved wrong on both accounts when i saw this getup.
obviously sjp didn't have her carrie on last night.

{zoe saldana in givenchy}
the top of the dress had promise,
but the lower down you went, the bigger the problem you had.
her duster/party decoration frock didn't cut it for me.

and
{j-lo in armani prive}
the thing about this dress is, i loved the shape.
even the huge poof thing was alright for me.
it was the texture of this dress.
she looks like she had to go through customs before she hit the oscars,
all bubble wrapped and styrafoamed.

well, after all that lets move over to who looked fabulous.

the best.
{demi moore in atelier versace}
i loved everything about this dress.
the color.
the shape.
the frills.
she looked stunning.

{elizabeth banks in versace}
this was pretty similar to demi's only different enough.
again, the color, shape, frills and i love the intricite stitching on the bodice.
a-list in my book.

{sandra bullock in marchesa}
ironic isn't it?
one person wears a hideous marchesa piece,
and another wears a gorgeous marchesa piece.
one wins best actress (the one in the good frock),
the other doesn't win anything.

{cameron diaz in oscar de le renta}
does cameron every look bad?
i can't really remember a time.
i'm sure there was one.
it just wasn't last night.

{anna kendrick in elie saab couture}
she was critisized for wearing a skin toned dress,
i however, think she looks great.
the dress is super age appropriate and it was her first oscar nom ever!
give the girl a break. i thought she looked fab.

{penelope cruz in donna karan couture}
i love the color of this dress.
she stood out amoung all the other skin toned and lighter pieces
that graced the red carpets last night, and i think she looked amazing.

when it comes right down to it,
what i say has no matter to anyone who "matters"
but i'm gunna share anyway!
that's all i have for tonight.
who were your faves and least faves at the oscars?

i'd like to thank the academy,

{all pics were found via google.com most were taken from instyle.}

here's what's in store.

see on the right hand side where it says "blogs i post at"?
those are all the blogs you can find my writings at.
i decided to give you a little excerpt from one of them,
so you can kind of see what the blogs contain!
hope you enjoy.
excerpt from memoirs of a mormon:
"....I've always cared a lot about the way I look. My hair, my make-up, my clothes. I've always wanted to look darling no matter where I'm going. Church has never been an exception. Now I haven't always cared about owning name brand clothing or having my hair professionally done everyday, however, I've always semi-based my self-esteem on how I look for the day. Its more for me than for others. I remember a particular Sunday I was complaining I had nothing to wear (really how often do we actually have nothing to wear? Go to Haiti or Chile or Mongolia. Somewhere like that. They probably literally have nothing to wear sometimes.) I had gone through all of my skirts and dresses. Mounds of clothes lay around me. I was in a minefield of Sunday Best..."

fun fact friday #14.

well this weeks fun fact friday has two parts.
first, the fun fact:
i love alice in wonderland.
actually, i love all things alice in wonderland.
i'm even considering putting up chinese lanterns in my room to sort of represent the mad hatter's tea party.
anywhooser,
its my most favorite disney cartoon.
i'm not sure why i like it so much, i just... do.
anyway, so in spirit of f.f.f., AND the release of tim burton's alice in wonderland,
i wish you, a
happy alice in wonderland day!
in celebration of alice in wonderland day, i went searching for photos that were inspired by the lovely film. here is what i came across:

i may not get to see the film right away, but i'm just happy about its release in general!
will you be seeing it this weekend?
happy weekending everyone.
i hope its a great one!

we're all mad here,
