i'm writing a book.

i've been working on writing a book lately.

and i must really be getting somewhere

because last night i got no sleep due to the fact

that the characters in my book, were having non-stop

conversations in my head all night.

therefore, i am tired.

i went to walmart today, and saw these two little treasures that...

i'm sorry but i'm just going to have to add them to my christmas list.

even though they are miley cyrus' line,

i feel i just have to have them!

(i sound so selfish and spoiled! really i'm not.

i just appreciate good clothing when i see it.)

i absolutely love dresses. - especially mildly frilly ones such as these!

"l" is for the way i'd look in those dresses,

{i sneakily snapped those photos with my sidekick. because apparently you aren't supposed to take pics of walmart merchandise. so shhhhhhhhh.}

made me the cutest little nativity a few years back.

its christmas time. so now i can {bust} it out!

since moving here a year and a half ago, everywhere my family and i have gone,

people stare at us like we're the cullens.

even tonight, at pack meeting, there was a semi circle of chairs,

and then there was {our} row of chairs. 

and everyone {stared}. 

guess we're just so super beautiful and awesome that people can't look away. :)

(it gets even creepier when brothey looks quite similar to edward cullen.

and kids at his school think he is a vampire.)

my shoes.

awhile ago i wrote about my shoe obsession right?

well, lets take a look at these {beauties}:

the thing i love so much about shoes is, they have a history.

each and every pair.

i always look at people's shoes and wonder:

what were they {thinking} when they bought those?

how much were they?

were they a gift?

were have they been worn?

(some of my shoes have been alllllllll the way across the world.)

and if shoes could talk, what kind of {story} would they tell?

(besides complaining immensly about stinky feet!)

well, the history of the shoes you see above goes like this:

my friend and i went shopping in vegas, she's obsessed with camo print things.

we went into {charlotte russe} (love that store!) and found these shoes.

she tried them on, they didn't fit, she made me try them on, they fit.

then, to live vicariously through me she made me buy them.

i didn't really even like them that much.

that was like 4 years ago.

now, i love them. and i wear them all the time.

so thanks kim. for making me buy them!

{and sorry they didn't fit you}.
